Snorkelling along the coast in mid-summer the water was teeming with sea jellies. Heading towards  the rocks I was drawn to a sea cave and as I entered the water calmed and the light dimmed. At the furthest reach of the cave a blue jellyfish (Cyanea lamarckii) swam in circles then headed for a beam of light illuminating the exit. Framing the shot I knew I’d captured a magical moment. Photographed freediving at Pointz Castle, near Solva.
